FRACTIONS II

This post has been sitting in my drafts section for quite sometime now.
Better late than never right...?

This is in continuation with the last fraction post which you can find here Insha Allah.
I had mentioned in the previous post about a lapbook we had worked on, when we were learning the lesson, here are some of the images how it turned out,

Few things we revised and refreshed when we worked on this lapbook are

• about the different types of fractions: proper , improper, decimal , mixed , unit and equivalent fractions
• comparing fractions.
• Definitions and terms. 
• different ways to represent fractions as in part of a group,  fraction bar, number line and fraction with shapes.
• conversion from mixed fraction to improper fraction.
• how to add, subtract, multiply and divide them.

We had found some pretty good fraction rules rhymes from some website... I don't remember the name exactly and couldn't find them.

Alhamdulillah, these lapbooks if taken care of can be a real time saver and act as an extra learning resource for the other siblings when they do learn the lesson later on Insha Allah.

Btw, we would have very much loved to share our fractions lapbook printables , but our computer hard drive crashed and we lost a lot of our precious homeschool materials 😢.
