5 yrs later.....
Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
It's been almost 5 years since I actually updated this blog.
A lot has happened since then. Where to begin with ??
We had three more babies since then , DS M who is now 4yrs, DS D who is 3 yrs and DD E who just turned 1yr old alhamdulillah. So life got a bit too busy now. Its always loud around the house at all times, but we still did manage to continue with our homeschooling journey alhamdulillah.
My little sister got married alhamdulillah. I got a bunch of nephews and nieces alhamdulillah.That's just the joyful part.
But, life did bring along some really painful times..
My grandmother passed away after living a beautiful long life. She was an exceptional woman. I always remember her sitting n reciting Qura'n. She would recite Surah Al-Baqara and Surah Ale Imraan everyday. She would attend every Jumah khutbah and Salah in the masjid. In the month of Ramadan she would even sit for I'tikaaf. She would always pass her time reading books. She was very beautiful..
Exactly two years 10 days later, My beloved mom, she passed away. She was just amazing, no words can describe her. She was an extraordinary woman. A pillar of support and strength for anyone who needed. She was there for everyone. She would do it all..I just don't how. She left from this dunya after having completed all her duties. She passed away peacefully. She lived her life in the service of Allah swt. She was always prepared. My greatest regret is , I couldn't do enough to serve her but she was always there for me. Everytime. May Allah swt grant her maghfirah and reunite us with her again in Al firdous. Aameen.
We moved to a whole new city. After twelve years in one place it was a big change for everyone. Took sometime to adjust and get settled in ,but we did it. Alhamdulillah.
So, life has been crazy with lots of happiness and lots of pain too. But ,that's what this life of Dunya is. Everything is Just Temporary. Whatever is permanent is in the Hereafter.
May Allah guide us all to do the right thing..Help us to raise our children to be a source of sadaqa jariya for us and may we be a source for our parents too.
I would like to continue from now our homeschooling journey and life's happenings insha allah.
So to start fresh my blog is renamed as raising-grateful-hearts instead of just-mymommyandme-school. However some of my previous files linked in this blog will still have that name.
So that's it for now, insha allah will try to keep updating.
