The Farm

All of October and most of November we were studying About the Farm
We learnt about the animals n how they help us
We learnt about life on the Farm
We had this ancient games CD about Junior field trips :Lets Explore the Farm with Buzzy the knowledge bug (my kids learnt a lot about farm from this)
We decorated the bulletin board , made a lap-book on the topic so did we make a small model of it...
OK we even thought of visiting a farm but couldnt....Insha Allah will surely visit someday.....

The bulletin board:

We started off by learning two names of Allah (SWT)
Al Musawwir and Al Muqeet: The Fashioner of forms and the Nourisher
Under the Al-Musawwir Part: They were explained what the names mean and were asked to think out Allah's various creations differently shaped n sized .....
The song for this theme was Dawud Wharnsby Ali's Animals love to hear Quran
Under the Al-Muqeet Part:  After the explanation, as the topic was about Farm Animals we decided to learn about the nourishment provided by Allah SWT for different animals I included the animal classification part under this....

We then did the lapbook:
