Papier-Mâché Globe

Learning about Asian and African animals I thought I would buy a globe for the kids to recognize and locate the continents at least. but then after i saw my sister make a paper-mache globe I decided I would do the same with my kids.....Alhamdulillah...we made it ..it was one heck of a messy adventure.....


We made with it a beach ball instead of a balloon.All four of them were pasting the paper strips getting all sticky and messy Masha Allah....It was very fun alhamdulillah.


I forgot to click pictures in the beginning... so the pics I will be posting will be from the time kids are giving the white coating part.

It was such a fun family activity..... we r looking forward to do more such activities soon Insha Allah.


I taught them that in Arabic Earth is Al-Ardh.....It occurred to me that the word earth must have come from its Arabic word...Ardh Earth...sounds similar right???


So that was our globe project...Alhamdulillah.
