First Half of September

Alhamdulillah ..... lots of praise and thanks be to Allah.
I started homeschooling my children this year (since June) Alhamdulillah. So far its going on well... Insha Allah it will continue to do so.
The first three months( June to Aug) , I worked with my son S1 (5yrs) mainly with word families, reading and  in math we did basic math then counting in 10's and 5's and double digit addition (without carryover),in arabic he had started fathah cussra and dumma (Alhamdulillah he has perfected it now), with My daughter S2 (4 yrs) I got her thorough with uppercase alphabets and started lowercase alphabets and number 1-20 and writing Arabic alphabets alif to ya in order Alhamdulillah. My second son A1 (2 yrs and 10 months) didnt seem much interested in studying he was much into scribbling n coloring sort of activities..
But
Alhamdulillah, From this month onwards I  decided to hold classes based on themes.
So the Theme for the Month of September is: Parts of the Body, Health and Hygiene
I decided to give it an Islamic twist
So the Theme of the Month turned out to be  Allah Created Me and He Provides For Me
This is what was completed during the the first 15 days of September.
I couldn't take a detailed close up of the board so i clicked the left the middle and the right section separately.
What did the kids learn : Two names of Allah Al Khaliq and Al Razzaq.
They were explained what it means. they were made to think about creation and the purpose of the creation.
Little explanation on Allah (Surah Ikhlas Translation)was done Alhamdulillah.they are learning the Zain Bikha nasheed Al Khaliq
Under the Al Khaliq section S1and S2  learnt that Allah created them and they learnt the names and spellings(only S1) of the parts of the body I taught this in a sing song way kinds......I wrote few lines on the parts of the body and gave it a tune n taught the kids Alhamdulillah (A1 also learnt the song Masha Allah).
We then did the uses of each part of the body.
Under the Al RAzzaq Section: we did How Allah creates and then provides for his creation. What Allah provided us and under this I included healthy food which Allah has provided us and healthy habits so as to teach them  Allah created us and provides us so that we take care of ourselves and grow into happy young Muslims.
we revised the supplication before and after food, and the supplication before having milk.
(they still have to learn the in case they forget to say Bismillah in the beginning supplication properly)
Yesterday I had my children go outside and draw the creations of Allah SWT that they can see around and they had to think and draw things Allah has provided them with. Alhamdulillah it went well..
A1 too wanted to go out n feel important like the older siblings so i gave him to work on Horizontal and Vertical strokes

Here are the close up pics of their art.
thinking of what Allah provided them  S1 drew dad, banana, apple, toy, car, house, cookie and orange
A1's vertical strokes
A1's horizontal strokes
S2 drew tree, tree, A2 , lollipop. another tree , mom and dad
Among the creations of Allah S1 drew sun, tree, leaf, cloud, himself, banana, butterfly, and a honeybee.
S2drew herself, moon, house, icecream ,orange, leaf, tree and sun.
So thats All for now,
So Insha Allah the next 15 days will be revision of the first 15 days and new chapters on the 5 senses and Hygiene Insha Allah.

If you are reading this please make dua for me and my family.
Jazakallah khair
